Where do you meet someone arriving at Terminal 7?
Arriving passengers come out on the lower level of Terminal 7, and that is where the pickup curb is. Arrivals and departures sit on separate levels at every JFK terminal, so driving to the departures curb is the most common wasted trip at this airport. International arrivals clear immigration and baggage first, which takes longer than the landing time suggests: watch the live Terminal 7 arrivals board until the flight actually shows as landed, then set off. Where do you park at Terminal 7?
Terminal 7 parks in the Orange Lot, which is the name on the airport's own signage. The Port Authority booking system lists height restrictions on this lot, so check them before arriving in anything tall.Follow the words rather than the colour: a lot colour is not a terminal colour, and at JFK the two rarely match.
What it costs is the same question everywhere at JFK, and the honest answer is that the airport publishes no public rate card: JFK parking has the $35 daily maximum, the two taxes nobody quotes, and the three free waiting options for anyone collecting an arrival rather than leaving a car.
Lounges at Terminal 7
Terminal 7 has no Priority Pass lounge, so a Priority Pass membership is no help here. Access depends on a business or first class ticket, airline status, or a credit card tied to a lounge in Terminal 7. The full breakdown of who gets in where is on the JFK lounges page.
