Where is Terminal 4 at JFK?

Terminal 4 is on the Central Terminal Area loop at JFK Airport in Queens, New York, with its own AirTrain station named Terminal 4. Driving in, follow the airport loop signs for Terminal 4: the terminals are signposted individually all the way from the Van Wyck. Terminal 4 has 48 gates: Concourse A (gates A2 to A21) and Concourse B (gates B20 to B55). Gate numbers are on your boarding pass and the screens after security; the live Terminal 4 departures board carries gate assignments as the airlines file them.

Arriving passengers come out on the lower level of Terminal 4, and that is where the pickup curb is. Arrivals and departures sit on separate levels at every JFK terminal, so driving to the departures curb is the most common wasted trip at this airport. Where do you park at Terminal 4?

Terminal 4 parks in the Blue Lot, which is the name on the airport's own signage. Follow the words rather than the colour: a lot colour is not a terminal colour, and at JFK the two rarely match.
